Father Owing Millions Alleges Unfair Treatment

John Stanton III gave a telephone interview with the Tampa Bay Times. He alleged that his reputation has been tarnished and that he is not a fugitive. Michael Lundy, counsel for his former wife, comments that Stanton "is grasping at straws."
On December 16, 2011, John Stanton III was sentenced to five months and 29 days in jail for his failure to pay his former wife, Susan Stanton, over $6 million in child support and alimony. He currently owes approximately $10 million. A warrant is currently out for his arrest and a reward is being offered by his former wife for any information tht leads to his capture. Though he is still at large, Stanton gave a telephone interview with the Tampa Bay Times. He alleged that his reputation has been tarnished and that he is not a fugitive.
